Infante Sagres Porto
AN UNFORGETTABLE STAY IN THE HERITAGE GEM OF PORTO
by Rodolphe Parente, Interior Designer, Experimental Roma
A journey that bridges heritage and modernity, where past and future meet in the heart of historic Porto. Through the doors at Infante Sagres, the original 5-star hotel in Portugal’s iconic port city, a journey of transformation was realised in 2024 reinstating the hotel’s grandeur, from a new façade, lobby and reception to refreshed guest rooms. Today, this legendary hotel embodies timeless elegance and eternal charm. An address that echoes the Age of Exploration, a gentle nod to a poetic past.

Restaurant & Summer terrace
At Experimental Roma, Chef Giovanni Passerini returns to his roots with a contemporary eye. Roman by birth and celebrated in Paris , Giovanni humbly brings the heart of Roman cuisine to life — the quinto quarto, the “fifth quarter” of the animal, often considered the less noble parts, but here, an approach of rare elegance, revealing their delicacy. A story told through trippa all romana and fettucinie ai regaje, an echo of tradition.
